On a happier note today, Joe Sunde was kind enough to excerpt some reflections from my book in the spirit of the season. I’m still not sure how I feel about this Christmas stuff; when my people ruled England, Christmas was against the law, and I have to admit that such a policy is sometimes a temptation.

If the enemies of Christ in Hollywood were smart, they’d make a movie out of that story: “The Year They Banned Christmas.” But the enemies of Christ are, as always, fools; it’s the Christians who know what they’re doing.
